The biometrics device is not pulling the data through to the time sheet?

There could be various reasons for that.

First of all it can take up to 5 minutes to transfer the biometrics login/out into the interface. So wait 5 minutes before doing anything else.

If you waited a while AND you normally can login/out without problems then the machine has probably disconnected from the internet for some reason. This can correct itself in certain cases but if you find it is not resolving, please contact your person in charge to restart the machine and/or the wifi router. If this still does not resolve the issue, please open a ticket. The details on how to reset the wifi are here: https://support.timedna.com/knowledgebase.php?article=188

If you never were able to login/out with the current method (fingerprint or facial recognition), then there was most likely a mistake made linking the fingerprint or face to your employee number. When enrollment takes place it is vital that the employee number is entered correctly and linked to the face or fingerprint. Sometimes a face is added later on a person which already had used the finger and by mistake a new user is created on the machine instead of adding the face to the already existing user with the correct employee number.

If you believe this might be the case, please login/out in using the method that is not working and note the exact time on the device while you do the login/out.

Then open a support ticket here giving your name, the exact time noted and your employee number. Our support staff then will be able to look up the login/out at that time and be able to correct the employee number as needed.

It used to be necessary to enter the BioID in the employee record for the record to pull through. However, this no longer needs to be done as all biometrics units now use the employee number automatically. The BioID field is no longer used and will be removed altogther in the future.
